Important terminology that all Shipyaari sellers should be familiar with.

Below is a list of Shipyaari terms to give you a one-stop source for finding the meaning of complex terminology in the shipping industry:

  • First Mile

Pickup Scheduled: A seller raises the pickup request for the shipment.

Pickup Rescheduled: In case of a failed pickup attempt, the field executive reschedules the pickup for the next business day.

Pickup Exception: When a field executive is unable to pick up an order due to some reason, the shipment is marked as a Pickup Exception. In such a case, we make a call to understand why the pickup didn't happen. If a call fails, we send 3 email reminders on the registered email ID.

Out for Pickup: The field executive is on his way to pick up your shipment.

Picked Up: Your package has been successfully picked up by the field executive.


  • Forward Order

Shipped: After a successful pickup, we update the shipment's status to 'Shipped' as it reaches the courier hub.

In-Transit: This status is displayed when the shipment is in the process of being transported between courier hubs.

Reached Destination Hub: When a package arrives at its final destination hub, we display this status.

Out for Delivery: Indicates that the delivery agent is now on his way to deliver the package.

Lost/Damaged: If your shipment is lost or severely damaged during the process, you can apply for an insurance amount of as per the agreement value.

Delivered: When a shipment gets successfully delivered to the buyer.


  • NDR

Undelivered: When a delivery executive can't deliver a shipment due to certain circumstances, it is considered "undelivered.".


  • RTO

RTO Initiated: After three failed delivery attempts, the courier company initiates a return-to-the-origin process for the undelivered shipment.

RTO Delivered: When an RTO shipment gets successfully delivered.

RTO Rejected: When a seller refuses to receive an RTO shipment.

 

  • Weight

New Discrepancy: A new weight discrepancy is generated when there's a difference between your shipment's applied and actual weight.  

Dispute Raised: For every new weight discrepancy, a seller has the option to either reject or accept the courier claim. We raise a dispute on your behalf when you reject the applied weight discrepancy. 

Discrepancy Accepted: The status changed of your weight discrepancy when you accepted the new weight applied by the courier

Dispute Rejected by Courier: This occurs when the seller's dispute is rejected by the respective courier.

Dispute Accepted by Courier: When the seller's dispute is accepted by the respective courier partner.

Auto Accept: We accept the final weight that the courier shares if the seller does not respond.

SR Credit: SR credit is the amount that is on hold that we release when:

Shipyaari lowers the applicable weight of a shipment or 
The courier accepts the seller's weight dispute.

 

  • Return Order

Not picked: 

  • When you receive a return request through your order tracking page, it directly goes to the 'Return Pending' status. 
  • When you generate the pickup request for your already initiated shipment.
  • In case of a failed pickup attempt, the shipment gets automatically rescheduled for the next working day.

Return In-Transit: 

  • When the courier executive successfully picked up your return order from the customer.
  • We show this status when a return shipment is moving from one courier hub to another.

Return Delivered: When the delivery executive successfully delivered the return shipment to you.

Return Cancelled: When you cancel the return shipment from the Shipyaari panel.
